Join me for weekly classes held at the Grace Milliman Pollock Performing Arts Center in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

 

Open Classes are designed for adult ballet and modern dancers (15+) with previous experience. I created Open Classes for dancers who need a space to continue their craft. Whether you are a former dancer who wants to move again, a teacher who wants weekly refreshing, or an intermediate/advanced teen who is continuing training on a flexible schedule, this is for you!

ATTENTION TEACHERS

Teaching schedules can make it difficult to find the time to take class. Before the hustle and bustle of back-to-school commences, take time for you.

Take a time out. Realign your body and encourage proper muscle usage. Learn exercises that you can use to place your body in the optimum position to teach dance each day. Dance alongside other area professionals in this TEACHERS ONLY Bootcamp.

Beginning at 7PM Wednesday-Friday, explore Progressing Ballet Technique. PBT is followed from 8-9 by a Ballet class where you can use all that you've just learned.

Return to the fall season stronger, refreshed, and ready to share with your students! Take 3 days to focus on you. 

Classes are held at the Grace Milliman Pollock Center in Camp Hill. The cost is ONLY $75 and includes the appropriate band and small balls necessary for Progressing Ballet Technique.  Register here.

Ballet class begins with a short, basic Progressing Ballet Technique™ warm up to engage muscle memory for safe and effective dance, followed by barre and centre.

Modern begins with a thorough, strengthening warm up based in the Horton technique, followed by across the floor exercises and a combination.

Open Classes Progressing Ballet Techniqueare the first open classes designed for YOUTH (10+). This technique is used to condition and strengthen muscles for proper execution in classes-- ballet or contemporary. Progressing Ballet Technique™ trains the body for safe classwork- correct muscle engagement, core strength, and ultimately reduced injury. This class serves as a supplement to regular training. Because of the building nature of this class, drop-ins are not permitted.

Tuesdays: Ballet 6:30-7:45PM (no class on August 8)

Saturdays: Modern 8:45-10AM

Drop-in Policy: $18 Ballet & Modern, CASH ONLY. No PBT drop-ins. 

Before you take your first class, remember to sign and bring your release of liability!

A Release of Liability form is required for participation. Please complete the appropriate form and bring it with you to class.
